Mahira founded Spruce to rethink home cleaning—removing toxic chemicals, plastic waste, and greenwashing from the industry.
After struggling with infertility and discovering the harmful effects of endocrine-disrupting chemicals in everyday products, she set out to create a safer alternative.

For the brand’s identity, I took a clean, minimal approach, avoiding the typical “eco” look. Instead of predictable greens, I used soft pastels to evoke freshness and calm, creating a modern, premium aesthetic that reflects Spruce’s commitment to both people and the planet.
